What is a device?

Every browser on every computer counts as its own device. For example, if you use Chrome and Firefox on the same laptop, that is two devices.

When you sign in on a device for the first time, you register it as trusted. Only then can you work with it.

How many devices can I use?

How many devices are allowed at the same time depends on the account's subscription. A bigger plan allows more devices.

Managing devices

Under Devices you see all registered devices. There you can:

• Remove single devices. The device is signed out, and the slot is free again right away.
• Register this device for more accounts. This way you use the same device with several accounts.

Automatic cleanup

Devices that have not been used for 60 days are removed automatically. This way, old devices do not block slots.

What happens when the limit is reached?

If the limit is reached, you can still register a new device. You simply pick an old device that gets removed instead. The old device is signed out, and the new one takes its place.
